Director of Idyia Coaching and Development, Sally Bernham is an experienced professional coach, consultant and facilitator who loves to work with individuals, teams or organisations who, in challenging, changing times, appreciate the value of development and are ready to take stock, take control and take action to develop their potential and enhance their professional and personal lives.
As a coach, Sally works both with individuals and teams from senior executive level to middle managers. She is course Director for the Undergraduate Certificate in Coaching and tutor on the Undergraduate Diploma in Coaching at the University of Cambridge, Institute of Continuing Education both of which attract international students to the beautiful Madingley Hall, the venue for teaching. Sally has a passion to transform the lives of leaders through coaching – when not coaching leaders herself or developing others as professional coaches, Sally works with coaches to develop their practice through supervision, loves working with managers and leaders to develop their coaching skills and supports organisations to embed coaching in their organisational culture.
Sally has over 30 years' experience of development mainly in the public sector, most recently in higher education where she was head of staff development for a midlands university and former Chair of the Midlands Staff Development Partnership and Committee member of the Staff Develpment Forum. Idyia has clients in both the public and private sector which brings both breadth and depth of experience and insight, and fosters fresh thinking and alternative perspectives. With extensive experience of the management of learning and development as well as coaching, mentoring, training, action learning set facilitation and psychometric assessment, Sally can offer a range of development solutions.
